/ this is interesting.
the sky is swollen, the air heavy wth darkness and the promise of rain. you skip down the stairs to the toilet block. in your right hand is a note signed by your teacher. you are all thin legs and armsand gingham school uniform. you pause outside the boys toilets, head cocked to one side, listening. from within, there is a dull thuding, as regular as metronome. you stand for a while, hesitant. 'is anyone there?' you ask, but there is no reply. the thudding continues. you enter the darkness of the toilets. your heart is hammering in your flat chest because you know that you should'nt be there. not in the boys toilets. not with that tudding threat. there is a thick smell of stale urine. it makes your eyes water but you move further in. there is a urinal on your right. empty. further along there is a row of cubicles. the thudding is coming from the furthest away. the door is open. you move slowly towards it. 'who's there?' you ask. silence, apart from the thudding. it forms a counterpoint with the beating of your heart. you want to run, but you also need to see. it seems to take an age, but you reach the corner of the door. you peer slowly round it, matchstick legs tensed for flight. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ i've got this from a book. it's interesting so i'm sharing it. there are also other entries. maybe i'll share them too, if i have the time. it's a library book you see so there's a limited time to borrowing it. you can search for it yourself at any library. it's called 'the whole business with kiffo and the pit bull' by barry jonsberg. it's about kiffo: a waster, hoon, class idiot, part-time criminal. as shallow as a gob of spit in a drained swimming pool. a marked man and also a friend of calma. together both of them tried to find out more about their english teacher from hell, miss payne or what they call her the pit bull. they suspect that their teacher is a drug dealer. haha. its really a funny and interesting book. anyway school reopens in a week. and i've not settled myself for school. no homeworks done. sketches not finished. books not bought. bla bla bla.. the thing is, I'M SERIOUSLY NOT READY FOR SCHOOL!! hais. it's no use talking bout it. time will not stop. the school won't just crumble down. teachers won't vanish. in fact they appear in my mind every single minute reminding me to finish my homeworks and art sketches. it is a nightmare. okie dokie i'm gonna stop here or i'll continue talking other crap nonsense that is'nt logical in your dictionary. hehe. 0 comments |
